Tips for finding a lost hamster

If your hamster is out of his cage, it can be a particularly difficult and worrying time. They fear he would be lost forever. You are afraid that he is chewing on an electrical cord. You fear that you never again see your little friend. So here are some tips for finding a lost hamster.

o Close the doors to all rooms in your house and sprinkle a seed or two in each room. You can narrow down where he is after he ate the seeds.

o If you know which roomYour hamster is put his cage on the floor to see if you can lure him with the smell of home. He is tired or hungry enough to go straight home.

o If this does not work, try filling an empty bucket with some soft bedding and foods. Put a ramp or a couple of books in a staggered pile out that he can climb up and then drop in the bucket. Make sure the bucket is not so deep that he hurt himself in the case, or too shallow, that he climb back out.

o AnotherAlternative to buy or rent a live animal trap. Do not worry, Hammie will not be harmed. It will only catch him in the same way does the bucket technology.

o Try your hamster in a few days you will not find as many hamsters can survive long without food or water. You could also start chewing on your things and cause serious damage.

Interestingly, even hamsters, the taste of freedom will eventually give up and go home. Sometimes they have older and wiser, they makeDecision, though. We had a hamster, who finally gave up and crawled on my son while he slept. He was ready to go home.

So do not despair, not looking for a lost hamster is impossible. You just need the right approach.
