Different types of skin pigmentation disorder

In this article I will tell you exactly what the pigmentation of the skin and how to treat it. I will also tell you different types of disorder, the pigmentation of the skin are very common. Before I explain about the pigmentation of the skin start let me tell you how really pigmentation of the skin. We all know, is the pigment melanin determining factor in our skin.

In fact, melanin levels in our skin not only decides the pigment of our skin, there is also the color of the iris of the eye. ButWhat determines the amount of melanin, our skin? Well, it depends on our genes and race. It also depends on the amount of sun exposure. The level of melanin in the skin increases when skin is exposed to the sun. This is a biological process in order to protect the skin from harmful UV rays.

Reasons for the pigmentation of the skin

What factors cause the pigmentation of the skin disease in the first place? Hypo-pigmentation:

This is a hyperpigmentation disorder. It is most commonly due to hormonal imbalance andSun exposure. It is also known as chloasma. It appears as dark spots on the upper lip, cheeks, forehead and sometimes on the arms and neck. This skin condition can be treated over the counter or prescription medicines. The treatment actually depends on the severity of pigmentation.

Solar Lentigo:

This is commonly known as sun spots, age spots and known as a mole. They usually occur on exposed parts of the body of the sun such as face and arms. By the way Mole hasnothing to do with liver. But yes, these age spots are given for a reason. They seem mainly to older people who have a lot on the sun exposed without the protection of sunscreen.
