Over the past 18 months, at least 25 albinos, including children, were mutilated and murdered in Tanzania. Authorities say witch doctors appear to be linked to the murders. Albinism is especially common in Africa, where it is estimated, as many as a thousand people are affected. It occurs when the genes do not produce enough, parts of the pigment melanin, as is known, that is, the skin is very pale. Yvonne Ndege reports from Tanzania. ...
