Raised in Montreal, Canada, Peter Ash was on his snow-white skin, teased a result of albinism, congenital absence of pigment in the hair, eyes and skin. Today, Ash is working to ensure that others do not suffer under the same mockery. And he turned his efforts to Tanzania, where he says more than 46 people with albinism have been murdered since 2007.
