Albinism in Kenya

Albinism is a rare hereditary disease characterized by a complete or partial absence of pigmented skin. The biggest challenge for people with albinism is that they usually pale or white in the eyes, hair and skin color. Unfortunately albinic people with extreme social discrimination. This is unfortunate because albinism is not a contagious disease and can not be transmitted through contact, blood transfusions or other means.
