In this article I want to tell you exactly what is the pigmentation of the skin and how to treat them. I will also tell different kinds of disorder, the pigmentation of the skin are very common. Before I begin to explain the pigmentation of the skin, let me tell you how to actually pigmentation of our skin. We all know the pigment melanin is a determining factor in our skin.

It appears as dark spots on the upper lip, cheeks, forehead and sometimes on the arms and neck. This skin condition can be treated, drug over the counter or prescription. The actual treatment depends on the severity of pigmentation.

Solar Lentigo:

This is commonly referred to as sun spots, age spot and also known as the place of the liver. They typically occur on the body parts as tanning face and arms. By the way liver spot hasnothing to do with the liver. But yes, they are age spots for a reason. These appear mainly to older people who are in the sun a lot, without exposure to the protection of sunscreen.
