John Dawson "Johnny" Winter III (born February 23, 1944) is an American blues guitarist, singer and producer. Johnny and Edgar Winter were nurtured at an early age by their parents in their musical pursuits. Johnny Winter is known for his southern blues and rock and roll style, and his physical appearance known. Both he and his brother were born with albinism. In 2003, the 74th Winter in Rolling Stone Magazine list of "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. The Old Grey Whistle Test(Usually abbreviated to Whistle Test or ÖGWT) an influential BBC2 television music show was that ran from 1971 to 1987. He took over the BBC2 late night slot from "Disco Two", in place since January 1970, while continuing non-chart music function.
