Genetic predisposition and diabetes

Unlike many diseases, ie, diabetes seem to be not genetically determined, such as albinism or hemophilia. In fact, the experts are not quite sure what causes it. However, it is clear that some people are actually more likely to get diabetes than other people, and that genetic predispositions are. How do you know how likely it will get a person who has diabetes?
